Why can we not continue with hyper-consumerism, and why can we not allow distorted production and business models to make the environmental and social impact of textiles excessive and unbridled?
This was explained in depth by Dario Casalini, textile entrepreneur and creator of the Slow Fiber project, interviewed by the expert consultant on sustainability issues Alessandra Monaco for a thematic webinar promoted by Radical Ecological Democracy, a think tank founded in India to promote a more sustainable future, which searches for virtuous and sustainable production models in the world, to disseminate them in India with the aim of creating awareness and stimulating growth that respects people and the environment.
Radical Ecological Democracy has identified in the Slow Fiber business network a source of inspiration for a radical approach to sustainability in fashion. Knowing that the echo of our activity has reached so far, encourages us to continue on the path we have taken.
